This 650 Spitfire Hornet Scrambler was last run a few years ago at the Coatesville Grand Pix by its owner. It features matching numbers and the sound it makes is amazing! Condition is exceptional as you can see in the pictures. It was purchased and restored about 20 years ago and has been displayed in the owner's home since then except for the Coatesville event.
"The Spitfire (known affectionately among Beezer fans as the "Spitwad") is, in effect, a special model made specifically for the American market, tailored to our peculiarly American preferences and riding conditions. In point of fact, North America is one of the few places in the civilized world with enough wide open spaces to permit full use of the Spitfire's shattering performance." Cycle World 1965
The engine is very healthy but since its generally a display piece (it is not street legal), We currently have it in display mode meaning no gas or oil for proper storage with our other vintage motorcycles at our dealership. We can provide it as a running machine if requested,
